Our Purpose
Kingdom Voyages exists to share the Gospel with the people of Cuba through meeting people's physical needs first. Jesus shows us this is the same way in which He ministered to the lost and needy by the countless miracles He performed in feeding the hungry (John 6:1-14 & Matthew 15:32-39) and healing the sick (Matthew 4:23, Luke 5:17-26 & Mark 5:25-34). We know that James 2:15-16 tells us, that we cannot minister to our brother or sister, if we do not first minister to their needs.
Once we minister to the physical, we minister to the spiritual needs. Whether through encouragement of already believers through fellowship and discipleship or through reaching the lost through evangelism of the local churches and global missions teams. Our desire is to not only see the believers equipped and strengthened through Kingdom Voyages but to reach the lost by sharing the Gospel of Jesus that Salvation is the free gift of God received through faith in Him, made possible to us through Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 4:12 & Romans 6:23).
What We Believe
God is eternal and has always existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These are three co-equal and one God. God is Omniscient (All-knowing), Omnipresent (Present Everywhere at the same time), Omnipotent (all-powerful), Sovereign, Loving, Holy, Just, Merciful and Good. He is the creator and Ruler of the universe.

God
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Holy Son of God. He is co-equal to the Father and the Holy Spirit. He was born fully man and is fully God. He lived a perfect, sinless life and offered Himself as the spotless sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. Three days later He arose from the grave and ascending into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus will one day return to judge the living and the dead. He will claim His own and continue to rule in Glory for eternity.
Matthew 3:17, Philippians 2:5-8, 1 John 3:5, Romans 5:8, Matthew 28:6, Acts 1:9-11, Revelation 22:12, John 6:39-40
The Holy Spirit is co-equal to the Father and to Christ the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their sin and need for the atoning work of Jesus Christ. He lives within every Christian from the moment of salvation, provides the Christian knowledge and wisdom for understanding God's truth and provides power to follow and obey Christ as Christians walk through their lives. he equips every believer with spiritual gifts when they are saved to serve the God, their family and the church. As Christians we seek to live by His guidance daily.

The Holy Spirit
The Bible
The Bible is the infallible Word of God. It had many human authors over thousands of years and supernatural construction through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and is without error. God's word is the supreme source of truth for living our daily lives. The Scriptures are the only correct source of truth of who God is and His plan for humanity.
2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:18-21, Psalm 32:8, Proverbs 30:5-6, Psalm 119:105, Psalm 119:160
Humanity was made in the image of God for the purpose of dwelling with God and worshipping Him. All of humanity is dead to righteousness by our nature of disobedience towards God and His law, called sin. This disobedience separates us from the Holy character of and commune with God. Through sin we have become a depraved people seeking self pleasure and ungodliness. Man cannot save himself to restore holy character before God and thus every human needs a savior to stand rightful before God. Without a savior every human is condemned to eternal separation from God.
Colossians 1:16, Revelation 4:1, 1 John 3:4, 1 John 1:8, Isaiah 53:6, Galatians 5:19-21, Romans 3:23-24, Ephesians 2:8-9, titus 3:5, Romans 6:23
Man
Salvation
Salvation is the plan of God the Father, through the work of the Son, Jesus Christ, brought about by the power of the Holy Spirit who convicts man of his offenses towards God. Humanity is so depraved the man cannot on his own, live in perfect obedience with God's law in order to save himself. The human heart is evil and will always choose the passions of the flesh (sin) unless God saves man from himself. God gave humanity the free gift of salvation through the perfect obedience and work of Jesus Christ (God's own son who was fully man and is fully God). Humanity cannot earn God's favor through his own good works but through confessing and repenting of one's sins, accepting the free gift of Christ's imputed (freely given) righteousness and submitting oneself to the obedience of God's Word over their life. Only through Christ alone can man be saved and have eternal life with God.
Titus 3:5, Romans 3:23-24, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 1:9, Acts 4:11-12, Romans 10:9-11
Humanity was created to exist forever, when we were created in the image of God. God is eternal and offered all humanity His eternal character. We will either exist eternally separated from God due to an unrepentant sinful life or we will live for eternity with God due to repentance and accepting the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Eternal death is eternal separation from God in hell, where there is no hope, love, peace or justice. Eternal life is eternal union with God, where there is hope, love, peace and justice. For the true believer, salvation cannot be lost or taken from them.
Matthew 25:41-46, Revelation 20:11-15, Romans 6:23, Romans 8:16-17, John 6:40, John 10:27-29, Ephesians 1:11-14
Eternity
The Great Commission
The Great Commission was not a suggestion to follower of Christ, but a commandment that Jesus left us with. As Christians, it is our responsibility out of gratitude to the LORD and obedience to Him, to love those around us and give them the good news of salvation through Christ alone. This news was never meant to be stored and kept to ourselves. As we minister to the spiritual needs of others, we need to also be ministering to the physical needs of those around us. Jesus modeled this perfectly for us when we are to minister to unbelievers and without love for the lost, all we are is like clanging symbols to the outside world. We are ambassodors of Christ and so we should aim to represent Him so that He may receive glory for our good works and be praised!
